Introduction

The International Conference on Digital Heritage and Intelligent Design Engineering (DHIDE2025) will be held in Hangzhou, China on July 25-27, 2025. Guided by the World Eco-Design Organization (UN Consultative Status NGO) and hosted by Hangzhou City University, this conference is part of the series of World Eco-Design academic conferences. The focus will be on the application and development of digital technology in systematic heritage protection, cross-disciplinary innovative integration, and sustainable design engineering.

The conference will cover a wide range of topics including digital heritage preservation, digital museums, digital crafts and cultural creative industries, smart cultural tourism, and digital museum education. The aim is to promote in-depth exchanges and cooperation among heritage and archaeology experts, historians, engineering practitioners, computational engineers, designers, and researchers worldwide, contributing to the digital preservation and sustainable innovative development of cultural heritage.

We invite scholars, researchers, and practitioners from various fields to submit relevant research papers. Papers should revolve around digital heritage and intelligent design engineering, and their intersections, exploring new ideas, technologies, and applications. We encourage original research, case studies, and papers on technological applications. All submitted papers will undergo evaluation by 3-4 field experts, and outstanding papers will be selected for oral presentations and poster presentations. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings and will be submitted for Ei Compendex.
